Kogi State Project Management Unit (SPMU) recently embarked on inspection tours to determine the implementation status of on-goings projects in the state. In one of the inspection visits headed by the State Project Coordinator Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto to a project site in Okene Ebe/ Ahanche Road in Kogi State, the PC expressed satisfaction at the quality of works delivered.
Visibly elated, the PC hailed the State Government’s support, describing it as a “fantastic infrastructural development revolution, (that is) changing the Kogi narrative.” Praising the State Governor, she said, “I want to sincerely appreciate the efforts of Gov. Bello in his determination to bring succour to Communities ravaged by erosion and other forms of land degradation in the State.”

While charging the contractor handling the road projects to speedy up work to ensure timely delivery, she appealed to project affected persons who have received compensation to vacate their properties in order to allow the contractors the needed space to execute the project. While also encouraging the host communities to give them the necessary support.
